A long weekend of sport saw the Sky Go app score a hole in one with some of its largest audiences and highest engagement of the year.
The start of the Ashes last Friday saw the most time spent on the Sky Go app so far this year, with the total minutes on the app up 105% on the daily average in 2023.
This was particularly driven by visitors aged 55+, who accounted for 35% of Friday’s audience, but 48% of the total time spent watching.
Engagement remained high all weekend before a combination of the cricket, the Canadian Grand Prix, and the final day of the golf at the US Open saw over a million people use the Sky Go app in one day for just the second time this year.
