Below you’ll find the most recently published UKOM Ipsos iris monthly data (February 2023) for the UK’s top 20 online group properties.

Ipsos iris’ February rankings of the top 20 most visited websites and apps by UK audiences are now available.

This month, news brands such as BBC Corporation, News UK, and The Independent have seen large increases, particularly in the North-West of England. This was likely to do with the increased coverage of the Nicola Bullev investigation, which attracted national attention.

There was also a slight decline in the Grocery/Supermarket audience of 291k, with J Sainsbury Plc the brand with the biggest fall: the organisation lost 2.3m in total audience, which was largely driven by a 3.1m fall in monthly visitors to Argos, which impacted the overall reach for the group. Meanwhile, Tesco has jumped in ranking as the ‘Grocery & Clubcard’ app replaces the previous Clubcard app. When looking at a cross audience analysis, we can see an increase in Sainsbury’s brand shoppers who accessed Tesco brand in February: Sainsbury’s lost 3% of their exclusive users to Tesco.
