Following ChatGPT’s public launch, leading tech companies such as Microsoft and Google have announced plans to harness AI’s potential. Microsoft has partnered with OpenAI, the business behind #ChatGPT, while Google is launching its own AI Chatbot, Bard.
In just two months since its public launch, ChatGPT has made a remarkable impact. Using Ipsos iris data, OpenAI saw an average daily audience of 113k during its first seven days. This number has grown strongly to 315k last week (31 Jan – 6 Feb), representing a 278% increase and peaking at 451k daily users in the UK. As people continue to learn about the limitless possibilities of this tool, it’s safe to say that this rise will only continue.
