The release of the Ofcom Media Nation report, and trended Ipsos iris data, has highlighted the scale and influence of the platform.
According to Ipsos iris, Reddit’s audience has rocketed over the last two years, with monthly users increasing from 19.4 million in November 2023 to 31.5 million in November 2025 — an increase of 63% 🚀🚀
One factor behind this rise is the partnership that Reddit struck with Google in February 2024, which has boosted discoverability. This is borne out by the 77% increase in web visitors Reddit has seen over the last two years, compared to a 25% increase in app users.
Reddit is also a major beneficiary of the AI revolution: its wealth of text-based, human-generated content makes it a valuable source for large language models.
The question for brands and advertisers is how they make the most of the growing opportunity that Reddit offers. 2026 may be the year Reddit becomes a more established part of the media mix.
