🍂🏃As summer turns to autumn and temperatures drop, more Britons are getting outdoors to exercise – and tracking their progress along the way.

Ipsos iris data shows that 4.3 million people used the Strava app in July – a 22% increase from the previous year. 📊

Growth was largely consistent across demographics, except among 35-44 year olds who saw a 44% increase in Strava app users since last July – more than double any other age group.

Another potential driver? Strava’s acquisition of Runna in April. With 83% of Runna users also active on Strava in July, the move looks to be as much about deepening engagement and strengthening user relationships as it is about expanding reach.
